About

Baskervville is a revival of a transitional typeface by Jacob, the French punchcutter who distributed it from 1815 as 'Baskerwille' — bridging Baskerville's classical forms with Didot's emerging modernity. Developed by a workshop at ANRT in 2017–18, it's a rare document of French typographic history, now available as an open-source webfont.
