Times Newer Roman is a typeface by art collective MSCHF, released in 2018, based on the URW Nimbus Roman No. 9 L with characters widened by 5–10% without changing their vertical heights. Originally designed to help students meet page length requirements, it has taken on a life of its own as a commentary on typographic compliance.
